How Can You Increase your Profits Part 2

Increase your profits as we have seen in the first part of our lesson is easy if you know how to do it.
We have seen that we need to get more visitors; and now we will learn that we need to increase the SPV.
SPV means: Sale Per Visitor.
The concept is that with the same number of visitors, you close more sales.

You will need to know how to calculate a conversion rate.
But don’ t worry, no need to be a crack in mathematics, there are very good softwares out there to track your advertising, and they will automatically calculate your conversion rate for you, and many more data that you will need later, as you become an expert affiliate.
Explanation of the conversion rate(CV):
A certain percentage of people will buy something from your site.
For example: for 100 prospects, 5 buy your product: 5/100 = 0.05% = CV.
A good CV is between 1% to 10%.
It is very important to increase your SPV.

Here is different ways to do that:
add web pages to your website,
add new products to your website,
update your webpage by testing it,
add audio to your website,
add testimonial,
tweak existing content on your website
add paragraph to existing sales letters
add more content to your business,
add software that shows you if the changes you made make you money…
the more words, webpages, and free products you provide to your potential customers, the better it is.
You will need also to increase the sign up conversion rate.
It is the number of person who will give you their email address, so you can follow up with an 7 days course, or ezine, or newsletter, and then…close the sale.
A good sign up conversion rate is between 10% and 33%.
Now you must act and try yo increase your SPV.

The Importance of Providing an e-Service

The internet offers web-based entrepreneurs great ways to create income, such as affiliate marketing, banner-advertising, and pay-per-click advertising. The online business-person must remember that the income method is only one part of business. One must also supply an actual service.

You can’t just join an affiliate program and expect to make money. You can’t just put an ad banner up on a website and expect to make money. That would be about as effective as having TV commercials without a TV show.

Not only do you need a way to earn income from your web traffic, emails, etc., but you also need to provide a service for your customers, viewers, and/or audience. Without providing a service, you won’t have any customers to whom you can advertise!

Assuming you have a website, the best service to provide is information. Not just any information, but provide specific quality information, about a particular subject such as fishing, cars, dating advice, etcetera. There are also other forms of content for websites other than information, such as games, quizzes, chat-rooms, forums.

Even if you don’t have a website, you need to provide a service. If you’re an affiliate marketer without a website, there are still many methods to partner your affiliate link with a service, such as product reviews, ezines, ebooks, etcetera. An ebook, namely a free ebook, is a great way to provide a service and increase affiliate sales. Write a simple ebook about something relevant to what you market, and then scatter your affiliate links throughout the ebook.

No matter what service you choose to provide, quality is just as important as quantity. Even if you have all sorts of services and information to offer, customers won’t bother with it if it’s low-quality.

Unfortunately, there are many scammers who may claim that there are ways of making money online with little or no work. These are scams. As we all know, money doesn’t grow on trees. If you want to earn money, you have to provide a service or product in return. Remember, the only free lunch is found in a mouse trap. Whenever your proposed with a business opportunity, ask yourself what service you’ll be providing. If you aren’t providing much of a service, then you won’t be making much money.

What is a Niche Market

First of all, we should understand what is a niche market.
It is a group of people with common interest, a group who has
the same hobbies, or the same social background, ethnicity.
They will have the same desires and need.
Each niche need informations and solution to their problems, and
it is an extremely targeted market.

Your role of Internet marketer start here.
How? You will give them what they want. Not something you are
trying to sell to that niche by a forcing or a massive attack,
but something they have to buy. Something you discovered that is
vital for that niche.

For example, you can’ t come with the latest karate gi (kimono
for the non martial artists), and present that gi with a massive
advertising campain to a football team? You will spend tons of
money, and you won’ t make any sale.

But if you understand the needs of that niche, what they are
passionate about, what they are dreaming of… Now you will come
with products they simply can’ t live without. That’ s powerful,
you will have literally nothing to do to sell. Just present them
the products, and that’ it they come like the mouse follow that

peace of cheese, they rush from everywhreto buy from you, they
are complaining because your product is not available in their
country, they advertise your products to their nichemates; the
effect is viral.

It leads to residual income, because these people will buy from
you other and other, they have no choice, no alternative, they
can’ t miss that.
Now I hope you understand why you have to target a specific
niche with the specific product, the big deal.

So let’ s resume:
Find a niche market, it’ s easy on the web, you have all the
tools that you need for free or small fee.
Find out what they want.
Present them a product that satisfies their needs
Come to them with convenience: come with something they are
searching for days or months, or they already found it, but you
come with a new one, more sophisticated, who fit exactly their
needs, the answer to their questions, take a old product who
worked in the past in that niche and make a survey to find what
you will add to this product or remove from it which will make
the difference.

Or you can come with a very new concept that they maybe was not
aware of.
Think about the cellular phone, people din’ t know 10 years ago
that it will be crucial to have a cellular phone. Who can leave
without a cellular phone today?
Do your homework now, and find what people want.
